If you want to order backing fabric at the same time as this kit you have a few options:
Horizontal seam: you need 3 1/2 yards minimum 44″ width fabric
Vertical seam: you need 4 1/2 yards 44″ width fabric
No seam with 108″ width backing fabric: : 2 1/4 yards
